Gina Iverson, B.S., is the Chief Financial Officer of OPERATION SHIELD, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting active-duty military personnel and veterans. As the only female civilian member of the board, Gina brings a unique perspective to the team, emphasizing the importance of understanding and addressing the challenges faced by the families of military veterans.
Gina earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton, where she developed a deep appreciation for health, wellness, and teamwork—values that have guided her throughout her career and personal life. Her passions include spending quality time with her family, hiking, exercising, and enjoying basketball and football.
Before joining OPERATION SHIELD, Gina served as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 16 years. This experience instilled in her a strong work ethic, resilience, and a commitment to serving her community. Seeking new challenges, she transitioned into the field of accounting, taking on a financial role with a small company where she honed her skills in fiscal management and organizational leadership.
