Jennifer Bethel

Jennifer Bethel is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of experience in customer care, team management, and operational excellence across diverse industries including SaaS, travel and tourism, sales, and marketing. As Board President, she brings her passion for people leadership and exceptional customer experience to our organization’s mission.

Currently serving as Business Operations Manager at WorkCare in Anaheim, Jennifer leads a team of 30 professionals responsible for leave administration for a major retail client. Her department consistently achieves 98% client satisfaction while maintaining rigorous compliance standards in partnership with legal counsel.

Prior to WorkCare, Jennifer spent eight years at UKG (formerly Ultimate Software), where she rose to Product Support Manager. There, she supervised 15 specialists while supporting over 3,000 customers on live SaaS solutions. Her leadership resulted in a remarkable 94% customer satisfaction rating and was instrumental in retaining $45 million in annual recurring revenue. Jennifer’s exceptional people leadership was recognized with three consecutive People Leader Awards (2021-2023) based on nominations from both peers and direct reports.

Jennifer’s expertise in customer experience was further honed during her tenure as Senior Manager of Guest Services at JetSuite, where she defined and executed the ideal guest experience strategy. Her career also includes valuable time at SolarCity and The Walt Disney Company, where she developed strong skills in team building, customer relationship management, and strategic problem-solving.

Born and raised in Southern California, Jennifer remains deeply connected to her community. She is an active volunteer at the Arboretum and Botanical Garden at Cal State Fullerton, where she dedicates her time to preserving and promoting this valuable community resource. Her passion for sustainable living extends to her home gardening practices, where she maintains an organic and sustainable personal horticultural space. Jennifer is an avid book reader and finds great fulfillment in mentoring current and former peers and direct reports, helping them reach their full potential.

A graduate of DeVry University with a BS in Business Technical Management and a minor in Human Resources, Jennifer has supplemented her formal education with professional development programs including Disney’s Leadership Transition Series and Wilson Learning’s Counselor Approach Journey.

Jennifer has been happily married for 12 years and shares her home with a rescued 6-year-old chocolate Labrador mix. Her unique blend of business acumen, people-centered leadership, and dedication to excellence makes her an ideal Board President to guide our organization toward achieving its mission and expanding its impact in the community.
